IDEA Programme
The Individuals with Disabilities Education and Assistance (IDEA) Programme and its One World event was created in 2011 to help bring together individuals, businesses, and community organizations in Indonesia to celebrate and acknowledge the contributions, skills and achievements of people with disabilities by breaking down barriers while increasing awareness of the benefits of integrating people with disabilities in every aspect of social, economic and cultural life.
IDEA and One World act as an umbrella for 48 organizations and schools, including 4,020 special needs children and 820 teachers covering all types of disabilities and special needs. Scholarships, employment mediation services, forums, training workshops and other events are provided to its members.
