IDEA Programme
The Individuals with Disabilities Education and Assistance (IDEA) Programme and its One World event were established in 2011 to bring together individuals, businesses, and community organizations to recognize the skills, contributions, and achievements of people with disabilities. The program promotes inclusion by raising awareness and reducing barriers to full participation in social, economic, and cultural life.
IDEA and One World serve as an umbrella network for 50 member organizations, including schools, and support over 5,220 children with special needs and 820 teachers across a wide range of disabilities and special needs. The programme provides scholarships, training workshops, employment mediation, in-kind support, forums and inclusive events.
