EduNation Vocational Development Programme
The EduNation Vocational Development (ENVD) program has operated as a comprehensive workforce development initiative since 2009, providing intensive, year-long job-related training and career services at no cost to students, graduates, teachers, and principals across Indonesia.
ENVD focuses on four critical career pathways: preparing young teachers, improving teaching quality for existing educators, integrating technology in education, and providing hospitality training for disadvantaged youth including those with special needs and disabilities. Each pathway combines theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on experience through a progressive tier system where participants build foundational skills before advancing to professional-level expertise.
Participants attend 16 full-day workshops per tier annually. We deliver 112 full-day training workshops to students and 50 workshops for principals and teachers each year, totaling more than 1,300 hours of intensive training. This dual approach creates a multiplier effect that improves educational quality while preparing the next generation for career success.
Since launching, over 1,800 teachers and principals have completed professional development programs, and more than 5,800 high school students have received comprehensive training and career development support. We collaborate with universities and corporate partners to deliver industry-relevant training that reflects current workplace demands, ensuring our curriculum remains aligned with employer needs while providing networking opportunities and potential employment pathways.
ENVD's proven track record positions it ideally to incorporate generative AI training, data analytics, and cybersecurity into our existing curriculum. By integrating advanced technology training with our established framework, we can equip students and teachers with in-demand AI knowledge and skills necessary for success in an AI-first workplace while maintaining the mentorship and support systems that have made our program successful for over 15 years.
